Welcome to World Istre 101--all about our crazy clan of 6. We hope this will help keep everyone updated on all the things happening in our little corner of the world.
Our Adoption Timeline
- July 15--Received Consulate Appointment for Aug. 11: travel dates are July 30-Aug. 13
- July 6, 2009--Received Travel Approval! We are going to China! Now, just waiting for the consulate appointment so we can book our flights
- June 15, 2009 -- Received Referral Acceptance! China has approved us to adopt!
- April 8, 2009 -- Received pre-approval to adopt Yang Ying Jiao
- March 4, 2009 --Accepted a referral for an 18-month-old girl.
- May 30, 2008 -- After many months of notaries, seals, authorizations, and waiting, we are done with paperwork!
- August 2007 --Filed application and began the paperchase
- May 2007--Signed agreement with AWAA
- April 2007 -- Attended America World Adoption Association information meeting

She is a doll and we are craving more pics already! I know things must be crazy there ,but know that everyone is praying for all of you. We can't wait to meet her! By the way, tell Jacob that he has an assignment already from Mrs.Hamm. She would love a menu from McDonalds to show the class (assuming it's a bit different), lol. Take care, be safe, enjoy!
